Karen Lundgren, LCPC

Karen Lundgren is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over 25 years of experience helping children, youth, adults, and families find improved well-being.

She has a Masters of Science in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling as well as a Masters of Science in Education. Additionally, Karen completed the 200 hour yoga teacher training at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health and is certified as an Amherst Writers and Artists workshop leader.

Most recently, she has trained in Somatic Experiencing, a body-focused approach to treating trauma and is a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. SE focuses on empowerment, mastery, expansion of choice, self-direction, and self determination.

In addition to Somatic Experiencing, Karen also offers Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, and/or mindfulness principles tailored to each individual.

She has extensive experience with the following: trauma, abuse, PTSD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, stress, OCD, parenting, managing chronic pain, emotional regulation, and life transitions.
