Shannon Flahive, DO


Dr. Flahive joined Psychiatry Associates after graduating from residency at the University of Colorado where she developed a niche interest in reproductive psychiatry and eating disorders.  During residency, Dr. Flahive further honed her skills by working in women’s behavioral health clinics, LGBTQ+ clinics, and working at Eating Recovery Center.  Her clinical interests include anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, bipolar disorders, eating disorders, and mental health care throughout the female reproductive lifespan (perinatal depression, psychiatric disorders during pregnancy and postpartum, infertility and pregnancy loss, and mental health concerns related to menopause).  She strives to provide patient-centered mental health care with an emphasis on providing individualized treatments plans for her patients including medication management, psychotherapy, and lifestyle interventions.
