Dr. Lipmanson is a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist, and is also board-certified in general psychiatry. Her areas of expertise include assessment and treatment of anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorders, attention deficit and other impulse control disorders, autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders, psychotic disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder and family relational problems. She utilizes medication, psychotherapy, family interventions, and dietary and lifestyle interventions to support the health and wellbeing of her patients and their families.
Dr. Lipmanson is a clinical instructor for the University of Washington. She trains medical students in their psychiatry clerkships, who spend several days per week in her clinic.
Dr. Lipmanson graduated with honors from the University of Colorado School of Medicine and then trained in adult psychiatry at University of California, San Francisco, before returning to University of Colorado for her child psychiatry fellowship. She and her family have resided in Montana since she completed her psychiatry training, and they enjoy gardening, exploring the work of local artists and hiking with the dogs.
